Charcoal Sketching
Two Hands
Drawing Studio 2 final project

Our hands are used in nearly every aspect of our lives, but so rarely do we take the time to appreciate the versatility they provide us. When we think of how we use our hands, we remember writing and drawing, coding and typing; but too often do we forget the gestures of kindness they can convey. A simple wave, a comforting embrace, or an outstretched hand can brighten a person's whole day. Before we raise our hands in anger, we must first remember the acts of kindness they can provide.
My Dogs

So often we try to attach a deeper meaning to our work, and sometimes our work is in fact motivated by profound insight. However, sometimes you wake up realizing it's Mother's Day and you haven't gotten your mom anything so you spend all morning frantically drawing your dogs to give her a personal and thoughtful present.
